The Book... Confessions of a gossip cloumnist.
In 2005 Jason O'Callaghan published his first book, which became a must read for any Irish celeb junky. Over ten years Jason was known as Ireland's most dangerous gossip columnist and broke every rule in order to get close to the stars. He co-wrote the most read page in Irish newspapers, the back page of The Sunday Independent for 4 years under his own name and two years before that ghost-writing for the infamous Terry Keane. |
He also worked on a number of TV shows, radio stations plus the majority of Irish and UK tabloids selling his showbiz tales to the highest bidder.
In his book (which is now only available via this site) after selling out it's first print run in Irish bookshops you can read how Jason broke into the wedding of Pierce Brosnan and also dealt with call from the star at 7am. How he got glassed by a former Miss Ireland, chassed by Ronan Keating, helped Jean Claude Van Damme get a date and was the first to write about both Colin Farrell and Westlife.

Jason has won international praise for bringing back swing music with his album "The Return of the Big Band." The proof of this was the 2006 release of "The Christmas Song" with former Westlife star Brian McFadden, who agreed to duet with Jason on his second album after hearing the sound of the crooner on his big band album. Jason has also sung with jazz sensation Jamie Callum on TV3, Jack L, members of Boyzone, Johnny Logan, Gerry Ryan and even actor Patrick Bergin.
